New: skin

Recently, I was in a design funk. I couldn’t design something I was satisfied with for the life of me! Then yesterday, I got a burst of inspiration. It mainly resulted from me browsing various websites. I noticed that although simplicity is great, my designs were lacking something. Color? Shapes? I couldn’t (and still cannot) put my finger quite on it. However, I created a layout and this new skin is the result. I am very pleased with it. Initially, I created a layout for winter, it’s blue and has a floral theme. Perhaps I’ll code it and add it next time. I also plan on making premade layouts and offering them for sale, but for the moment, I’m going to experiment with different designs and coding before putting them up for sale. Speaking of selling, I’ve been quite busy doing custom work for msrs (myspace resource sites) & this is contributing to my neglect of Divergente… Well, not really, I’m just lazy.

In other news, I’m finally 20. I turned the big 2-0 this past Thanksgiving (by the way, I hope you all enjoyed yours). I know I’m slacking in the e-mails, which isn’t anything new, but I sincerely apologize. I begin responding to e-mails, then an overwhelming feeling of lethargy takes over me and I forget to return to those e-mails. And not only that, but my inbox is full of spam from my mail forms and I have to go one by one and delete what’s not spam. I really don’t feel like posting a thought provoking blog (I actually have a couple already written, haha), so I’m just going to post some old layouts from this site (hence the title Blast from the past).
