I first gained knowledge of HTML while on a community website. It seems that Myspace is all the rage now, but way back when, there was a popular site called Blackplanet. After a while, a few of my friends developed their own site that was hosted at a freeserver. I decided to hop on the bandwagon, basically. The rest is history :).
Why continue?
Web/graphic design has become a creative outlet for me. I love experimenting with coding and designing while learning new things. I plan to continue to do web/graphic design for a while, or at least until I get bored with it (like that'll ever happen). Initially, I used my website as a journal, but now it's primarily used to share my opinions with others while gaining their opinions as well. My purpose in life is to help people & hopefully through my site I have helped someone in one way or another... or at least inspired them.
What's in a name?
"Doux riens" is the french translation of "sweet nothings". It is merely a saying. I love the French language, so that explains why the domain name is French. As for "sweet nothings"... it just had a nice ring to it. Sorry if you were expecting some amazing story as to how I came up with this domain name.
