Getting to Know Mimi
My name is Yasmine, but I'd prefer you to address me as Mimi. I live in the I guess you can label me as a shy person, but I can be outgoing once I get to know you. When I venture off into new surroundings, I tend to keep to myself, like a turtle in its shell. However, once I get to know you, I break out of my shell and may seem like a totally different person ;). I'm a tad bit silly, yet I can be extremely serious when I need to be. I consider myself a mature person, too. I keep myself content and usually calm. My poetry helps me to remain that way. I tend to hold grudges, and sometimes it's unintentional. It is just that I have a difficult time in trusting people; that's just the way I have always been. I am very stubborn and this is both a strength and a weakness. I believe in the accuracy of personality tests and that's why I have different test results on this site.
I dislike people with pompous attitudes and have an "I'm so better than you" aura around them. I dislike weedheads too (you know, those people who are ALWAYS high); the devil's cabbage (lol Heartbreak Kid) reeks! I'm above the influence and believe smoking is stupid. I am a bargainer, I am always looking for a bargain. I guess I'm a bit frugal? I see the good in people when they're unable to. I see the good in situations that are deemed tragic. I enjoy talking to strangers. I'm trusting and accepting of people until they give me reason not to be. People deemed "weid" fascinate me. I must be slightly off- I am an aspiring psychologist lol. Anywho, I am considered strange by a lot of people and frankly, I like it. Who wants to be normal?? There's no fun in that ;).

- I have never gotten drunk before, nor have I ever done drugs or gotten high.- I have been blogging and designing graphics since the summer of 2005.
- Graphic design is NOT my major in college; I don't intend on pursuing a career in it.
- I am an aspiring child psychologist and want to work with children/adolescents who are sexually and emotionally abused.
- I am probably the most stubborn person you'll ever meet.
- I value the friendships I have.
