Happy MLK Day!

Happy Martin Luther King Day you guys! I actually feel bad… It’s supposed to be a day of service, but I’m not volunteering anywhere. Instead I’m going shopping for school =/. Eh, at least I know that I can volunteer any day; I don’t have to wait for a day to designate when it’s best to volunteer :). I actually want to start volunteering at a few places, preferably a homeless shelter for families (I want to really work w/ children) and a rape crisis center (since I want to go into that in my career). I am not sure if I have time for it since I am really busy with my final semester of college. I do, however, know I’ll have time during the Summer.

Totally random: Glee won a Golden Globe award last night. I did not see it myself, but a friend texted me. I was so happy they won because I LOVVEEEEE that show. I have absolutely no problem admitting that I am a Gleek (see #7). I love Glee! I breathe, sleep, and eat Glee… okay, maybe that is an overstatement, but I do love the show. From the diverse cast, fun show tunes, good amount of drama, and hot guys (come and get it Puck ), you can’t go wrong with this show. Even if musicals aren’t even your cup of tea, you still probably will enjoy watching the show; it’s that good. What are some of your favorite shows? If you don’t watch TV, what are some of your favorite books?

I never watched that show so I wouldn’t know.

I think the Rape Crisis career sounds like a positive one. I’ve always wanted to do that especially with being a victim myself. I know what it’s like to be in that situation and I always wanted to try to help others pull through. Good for you!

I’ve seen it a few times; it’s pretty good!
I think that volunteering at a homeless shelter is a good thing to do. I’ve wanted to do that too.

I have never even heard of that show before lol. Voluteering at the homeless shelter is a good thing, it’s a way to show appreciation and give back to the community. I’ve wanted to do that for so long!! I also think the Rape crisis center is good too. I always wanted to do that because I, too, as Samara said am a victim. You go girl, get emmmmm MUAH!

I think that show is freaking awesome.!Yeah, musicals aren't really my thing but this is like has all the 'modern' music so I do enjoy it a lot. lol =P

Glee is cool . I’ve seen a few episodes , but I keep forgetting that it’s on .

OMj, you’ve actually blogged more than once a month. That’s so heartening because I love your blogs I love your previous blog. Ugh – I don’t get it. Parents are not doing a good enough job teaching either sex to have respect for themselves and the other sex.

Idk about Glee. I only find myself attracted to episodes with Sue or Emma. I absolutely love Sue’s character hehe. Whoever writes her character is a pure genius hehe.

I love Glee too It’s an awesome show. I love it when Sue goes “And that’s how Sue sees it” making the letter ‘c’ with her fingers The show has incredible singers!

I wish you the best on your volunteer endeavors. I’m also trying to volunteer as well and not because I HAVE to for graduation but because I feel that I should give back at times. God has blessed me with so much and I feel as though I should allow God to use me to bless someone else.

Girl, you will be reading my comment entry all day if you wanted to know some of my favorite books. I don’t watch too much t.v. but I’ve always wanted to see what the Glee craze was all about. People are raving about this show but I never have the time to get into it because I’m too lazy to hook my DVR on my computer up!

Gleee, you don’t know how long I’ve been trying to watch that show without getting distracted. I am still in the process…it’ll happen one of these days. The parts I have seen, I LOVED..I especially like the one when Kurt I think, like was doing the ‘Single Ladies’ dance and he had the whole football team doing it. Too funny and cute
