Uhm, wtf?!

Wow. I hadn’t realized that I did not post for the month of July. How terrible. I really wanted to be active with this website, I truly did, but I don’t believe I’ll be able to until school resumes. It’s kind of ironic. Most people say they’ll be too busy to keep up with their site(s) during the school year, but I think it may be easier for me. I won’t always be out hanging with friends, working, etc… Well, it IS senior year for me *woot woot*, so things may get a little hectic. Applying to graduate schools and prepping for the GRE is NO JOKE. Ugh, so who knows when I’ll be able to get active with this site.

I remember looking at web designers as if they had a third-eye when they closed their sites because they have a life now or whatever. It’s strange- I feel like I’m becoming one of those people. Don’t get me wrong, I am NOT closing the site but I never thought life would get in the way of this hobby of mine lol. I mean, sure, I could take a second out of the day and type out a blog (as I am doing now), but it’s not heart-felt; it’s rushed and it feels like a tedious chore. Blogging should not be a chore… ever! I do intend on updating more. Hopefully I’ll be able to update weekly for the time being. I know I have e-mails, questions, comments, etc to reply to. Give me some time.

One last thing. It’s been brought to my attention that the visitor section isn’t working for some of you?? Please CLICK HERE and tell me if you can see the page. Post a comment, please. I have some layouts to add, but I just need to adjust some things. I’ll try getting those up soon…

You’re right, blogging shouldn’t feel like a chore you should take some time and feel refreshed then come back again! We understand that you have a busy life.

There’s nothing wrong with having a life. Being busy is important, especially during the last years of college. As you said, blogging should never become a chore. However, it ends up on my to-do list everyday LOL I’m terrible. Yeah GRE is definitely no joke! It takes a lot of studying and preparing. I’m sure you’ll do well in your upcoming senior year.

im sorry that this is not blog related.
i do not know if you are aware but one of your hostees (pippet-doll) has taken a coded layout, provided by traumababy.webs.com and has covered up all credit and has claimed it as their own. i would ask the owner of pipped-doll.douxriens.com to add the rightful credit as brenah form traumababy has taken a long time to code all of her free layouts and i dont think it is fair on brendah.

Ah, where’ve you been YASMINE!! haha. Well it’s good to stay busy and productive, I always say.

Yeah, I get the whole having a life thing. I’ve felt that way before, like the past couple of weeks I’ve had so much going on, my site was the last thing, if at all, on my mind. =x But yeah, definately don’t close because you might want to come back.

I sincerely apoligize for this comment, as it is not related to your blog. One of your hostees (Nicole at http://pippet-doll.douxriens.com/) has stolen one of my coded layouts, and edited by taking out all credits due to me for making it. She did not even tell me she was going to edit anything (because that is all I ask if users wish to do so) but she has done none of that. I kindly ask you to please talk to her. Senior year! That’s exciting.

Like you, I’ve neglected my site here and there but for different reasons. Sometimes I lament over the fact that all the other sites are updating and mine is dying. I don’t want to close, but I don’t particularly want to be active either. I DO, but I just can’t become motivated enough to put forth the effort.

I have always enjoyed your blogs and reads though so hopefully you show your face around here more very soon.

I think quite a few people are just randomly disappearing this summer… I think we all get busy with life because we don’t have to be at home doing school work or whatever. Don’t worry about it and take your time!

Blogging as a chore sounds horrible. Senior year of college? Good luck! I’m in mines of high school and I just boohooed all last night. And I agree with Angel, having a life isn’t so bad. It happens and as much as you want to please others, you have a life, tend to it. WE’LL BE HERE! We always are! Lol.

Yeah… people keep complaining how they’ll be busy with their schools for like years. Ridiculous, but true. I personally don’t see any difference.
